This map is available from the Library of Congress and has been featured on Slate. It's a great map.

I did, however, take the liberty of graying out the background and making the lynching dots red.

Although the vast majority of lynchings took place in the South, there were still quite a few in the Midwest and the West. There were no lynchings in New England, New York, New Jersey, or DC.
